Write for us

We welcome thoughtful pitches about tennis courts, play, customs, seasons and the occasions around the game. Send proposals through the Contact page; unsolicited complete articles may not receive a response.

What makes a good pitch

Offer a specific subject, explain the question a reader will leave with, and say what makes the angle distinct from familiar match coverage. Evergreen ideas with a clear scope are especially welcome. Tell us briefly about your relevant experience without implying credentials you do not hold.

A careful approach

We look for original work, plain explanations and claims that can be checked. Pitches should avoid unsupported certainty, promotional copy disguised as editorial, and advice that depends on rules or conditions a reader has not been asked to verify. Please disclose relevant interests.

How to send it

Use the Contact page, select the editorial question option and include a working title, a short outline and the proposed category. A pitch is a proposal, not a commission; we will discuss scope and terms before any accepted work is prepared.
